I did not expect to find any seeds in my first sown tree peony #001 with 8 (!) carpals, but there they are. And a good 32 of them. Good firm seeds, almost all sinkers. Pollen from Shima Tsubeni. Longing to see what plants will grow out of this combo! Just five more years...😅

First blooms - sown 2018

These are some blooms of "Rockii/Linyanshanii hybrid seed" (yes, I mixed up the Rockii seeds with the Linyanshanii seeds...) bought from Monica Gehlsen in Germany. Unfortunately, she does not sell seeds anymore. They all have the basal flare. Pink one blooms extremely early, 2 of the first 5 buds were lost to botrytis.
